The Comedy Cloud in TivoliVredenburg goes all-English on Thursday October 25th with the best stand-up comedians from Great-Britain, Canada and The Netherlands.

Headliner for the evening is Adam Fields, fresh off a summer in which he got to open for American comedy legend Marc Maron and British boy-wonder Russell Howard. Adam turns out new jokes like clockwork. We cannot wait to see what he has to say about being a father, dating, Brexit and the state of Europe. Also, having him means we can use one of our favourite quotes of all time:

Also present this show: Chris Betts. This Canadian is known for his sharp material and relaxed stage presence.  And this has brought him far as he has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, South by Southwest in the United States and Zulu Comedy Festival in Danmark.

For a sense of who this bearded Canadian is, check out his comedy video-serie Chris Betts Vs. The Audience, where he makes comedy out of defending the worst points-of-view about home invasions and the love between man and dog.

And here to add a hint of the bizarre is Englishman Dave Thompson. A man who rolls vaudeville, clown-work, magic and the dryest oneliners this side of the Sahara into a memorable performance every time. Dave is a comedy gem, and one of the rulers of the Eastern-Europe stand-up comedy scene! (Which makes perfect sense somehow.)

And of course this evening needed a Dutch comedian (if only for tax purposes) and who better for it than Kim Schuddeboom. With her self-deprecating humour and warm contact with the crowd she will make the audience roll in the aisles with laughter.
