TivoliVredenburg greens 80% of its energy use

TivoliVredenburg actively contributes to the energy transition. Our latest step: using green power simultaneously from sources like solar energy when the sun shines, and wind energy when the wind blows.

We purchase this sustainable energy through Groendus’ Energy Marketplace. This allows us to green an impressive 80% of our energy use. During the day, we draw from solar panels at places like care farm De Maargies Hoeve. In the evening – when the stage lights, guitar amps, and PA systems fire up – wind turbine ‘De Wyntjesnijer II’ from cooperative TOER powers us well into the night.
