Let the oldest professional symphonic orchestra in The Netherlands take you into the mesmerizing world of classical Arabic music from the last century. Promises to be a new and enchanting evening of new classical music, combining East & West.

The mesmerizing world of classical Arabic music
Through ”Levant Music”  – the new musical language Maestro Tom Cohen developed, with his Jerusalem Orchestra East & West– melting the foundations of Western music with the Jewels of music from Arab and North African countries.

Combining this musical language, with the strong yet dramatically touching voice of Dalal Barnoussi, surrounded by the musicians of the NNO playing the most known and popular musical pieces from Egypt (“Into Omri” and “Ya Msafer Wahdak” by M. And el Wahab, “Sawah” by B. Hamdi), Lebanon (“Nassem Alayna el Hawa” – the Rahbani Brothers), Tunisia (“Lamouni li Gharouu mini” – H.Jouini) and Morocco (“Ya Bint Badi”, “Alala Yilali” – A. Cheqara and “Mehani Zin” – S. Halali) – Promises to be a new and enchanting evening of new classical music, combining East & West.
