De Palestijnse singer-songwriter Rasha Nahas, opererend vanuit Berlijn, mixt traditionele Arabische invloeden met de popmuziek van nu. Haar eerste releases waren Engelstalig, maar op haar tweede album Amrat (2023) zingt ze voor het eerst in het Arabisch, wat haar muziek nog meer eigenheid geeft. Nadine El Roubi is een Soedanese zangeres/rapper die ook weet wat het is om in twee werelden te leven, want ze bracht haar kindertijd door in de Verenigde Staten. Debuut-ep Triplicity (2022) bevat warme neo-soul waarin haar voorbeelden Erykah Badu, Lauren Hill en Doja Cat doorklinken!

Her first releases were in English, but on her second album called Amrat (2023) she sings in Arabic for the first time, which gives her music even more more authenticity.  Nadine El Roubi is a Sundanese singer/rapper who also knows what it’s like to live in between two worlds, because she spent her childhood in the United States. Debut Ep Triplicity (2022) includes warm neo-soul in which you can hear the influence of her role models Erykah Badu, Lauren Hill and Doja Cat.
