De Griekse zangeres Eleftheria Arvanitaki is een grootheid in haar thuisland, maar trekt ook in de rest van de wereld volle zalen met haar melancholieke liederen – zo verkocht ze in 2014 nog Carnegie Hall (New York) uit. Met haar aanstekelijke mix van traditionele Griekse muziek en pop kan Arvanitak (geboren op het eiland Icaria) terugkijken op een carrière van ruim 30 jaar. Hoogtepunten zijn onder meer haar optreden op de sluiting van de Olympische Spelen 2004 in Athene en een best-of-album op het legendarische label Verve (als eerste Griekse artiest ooit). Het wordt een zomerse avond in december!

Her clear and emotionally charged voice echoes like a universal language. Her magical performance defies any language barriers. Eleftheria Arvanitaki started her career in the early 80's and, over the last 30 years, she has developed a very authentic artistic identity, by introducing to a large global audience her own unique blend of Greek tradition and contemporary sound. During the closing ceremony of the Athens 2004 Olympics, more than 100 million viewers from around the world had the chance to enjoy Eleftheria's performance. It is with great pride and joy that TivoliVredenburg, in collaboration with Your Music Agency & SG Muziek Producties, invites you all to this outstanding musical experience. The musical direction is in the hands of the New Amsterdam Orchestra, conducted by Stephan Geusebroek. 

Tsipuro & the Potes, the Greek music band we all love, will be performing at the foyer of the Grote Zaal, right before Eleftheria's concert, on December 10th! Tsipuro & the Potes is a 5-member band, consisting of Greek and Dutch musicians. The band is performing for more than a year throughout the Netherlands, in various venues and occasions, but always with the same goal: create a true Greek festive atmosphere and make people dance, sing and enjoy all together. The repertoire consists of basically traditional songs, related to many regions from Greece, but also of more contemporary songs, too.

Το γνωστό πλέον σε όλους μας σχήμα Tsipuro & the Potes  Tsipuro & the Potes θα παίξουν ζωντανά στο φουαγιέ του Grote Zaal την 10η Δεκέμβρη, λίγο πριν τη συναυλία, για να υποδεχτούν όλους τους φίλους της Ελευθερίας με ελληνική μουσική! Οι Tsipuro & the Potes είναι ένα 5-μελές σχήμα που αποτελείται από Έλληνες και Ολλανδούς μουσικούς. Έχοντας ήδη πραγματοποιήσει εμφανίσεις σε αρκετά σημεία της Ολλανδίας για πάνω από ένα χρόνο, οι Tsipuro & the Potes έχουν εδραιώσει την παρουσία τους στα ελληνικά καλλιτεχνικά γίγνεσθαι. Στόχος πάντα είναι η δημιουργία μιας γιορτινής ατμόσφαιρας, με χορό, γέλιο και διασκέδαση, πάντα με σεβασμό στο ελληνικό έντεχνο και παραδοσιακό τραγούδι.
