NEW YEAR, NEW DISCO ARABESQUO NIGHT!

We are happy to announce that 'DISCO ARABESQUO NIGHT' will be back at Tivoli Vredenburg (Utrecht) after our last four sold-out event! On the 28th of January 2023 we will be at our Cloud Nine, and recreate a nostalgic vintage Arabic disco night that might have never happened. And we are honored to have none other than ‘Moving Still’ as our special guest to celebrate the first vinyl release on our new label ‘Disco Arabesquo Records’. A 12’ vinyl with two 90’s Kuwaiti songs from the ‘Al Nazaer’ label and edited by Jamal.

This 'Disco Arabesquo Night' will take you back to the sounds of the 80's & 90's Arabic Middle-East (South-West Asia) and North Africa. You will hear the voices of Fairouz, Mohamed Mounir, Simone, Cheb Khaled, Faried el Attrache, Hamied el Shaeri and many of their friends. Meanwhile, you will dance along misty visuals of characters from the golden age of Arab Cinema.

Brace yourself for legendary nostalgic classics, Moroccan Bangers, Lebanese Psychedelica, Algerian Funk, Egyptian Pop, Khaliji Rhythms, Libyan Reggae, vintage Syrian Dabke and beyond!
