Catfish and The Bottlemen stopt al ruim tien jaar de ‘rock’ in indierock. Bijna elk nummer van het viertal ontaardt een meezinger van epische proporties, mede met dank aan frontman Van McCann, wiens foto je ziet als je in het woordenboek ‘charismatisch’ opzoekt. Na The Balcony (2014) en The Ride (2016) verscheen in 2019 hun derde album The Balance, waarvan de single Longshot een oorwurm eerste klas is. Tot slot nog een weetje voor de Popquiz: alle songtitels van Catfish and The Bottlemen bestaan uit slechts één woord. Verwacht een avond energieke alternative rock!
