De Lunchconcerten zijn elke vrijdag de springplank voor zowel je weekend als voor aanstormend talent. Neem je bammetjes mee en bewonder de talenten van de toekomst, afkomstig van alle conservatoria van Nederland en het allermooiste is dat de toegang gratis is. De lunchconcerten zijn ook online te volgen via YouTube en Facebook.

Ut Kwintet, a wind ensemble based in the Netherlands, unites five musicians from across the globe.

"Ut" originates from the Latin hymn, ‘Hymn for Saint John the Baptist’, and is poetically heard at the beginning of every new stanza. It stands for the beginning of musical ideas and serves as the starting point for the blooming of melodies and compositions. Ut Kwintet has adopted this concept to represent their passion for new musical ideas, aiming to inspire audiences with their energy, camaraderie, and dynamic playing, allowing for a unique and unforgettable concert experience.

Their diverse repertoire spans from classical to contemporary genres, and experienced to unfamiliar composers. Additionally, they arrange pieces from outside of their instrumentation, with the hope to expand the range of music for wind quintet. Their wide repertoire includes standard composers such as Ligeti, Hindemith and Nielsen while exploring music that resonate and inspire the quintet from composers such as Manuel de Falla, Muczynski and Zemlinsky.

Originating from their love of performing, they strive to tell stories, create beautiful music, and inspire audiences.

Reserveer je gratis ticket vanaf vrijdag 10.00 uur op de dag van het lunchconcert. Tickets kun je reserveren via de website of bij de kassa in de centrale hal. De lunchconcerten zijn toegankelijk voor iedereen boven de 8 jaar. Let op: vijf minuten voor aanvang sluiten de zaaldeuren, laatkomers kunnen wij helaas niet toelaten.
