STORMY

With over 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 700,000 subscribers on YouTube, Stormy — real name Yasser El Malih — has become one of the leading voices in Moroccan and MENA rap. In just four years, the 27-year-old rapper has sold out shows in Morocco, France, and beyond. In February, he released his long-awaited debut album ICEBERG, a bold and introspective project that blends hard-hitting trap beats with emotionally raw lyrics. Known for his sharp flow, multilingual wordplay, and striking visuals, Stormy is redefining the global image of North African hip-hop. As his international fanbase continues to grow, he's proving that his rise is no passing storm — it's a movement.

Ziad Zaza

At just 23, Ziad Zaza has emerged as a transformative figure in Egypt’s rap scene, seamlessly blending drill, oriental trap, and Brazilian funk. Hailing from the streets of Sheikh Hassan in Fayoum, his roots in underground rap culture have deeply influenced his one-of-a-kind musical style. His 2022 album El Rays was a sensation, particularly the track Dayra, which dominated the top 10 trending charts in Egypt and the MENA region for two weeks. His single BASHA, also made waves, climbing to the top 5 trending charts in both markets. The recently released star-studded album ZAZA ELWASEEM has further solidified his influence. From childhood dreams fueled by MTV to becoming a pivotal force in the regional hip-hop arena, ZAZA stands as a symbol of the future of global music—deeply rooted in local culture yet universally resonant. Last year he released 3 eps which hit global charts on Spotify and TikTok and some features and singles which included regional features.

Lina Makoul

Lina Makoul is a prominent independent Palestinian pop singer-songwriter who distinguishes herself not only by her exceptional musical talent but in fostering human connection through shared emotional experiences. Lina is known for her wide vocal and musical range and multi-genre fusion, or as she likes to call it ‘Indiepop in Arabic’. One of Lina’s main focuses is to grow alongside her fellow Palestinian creatives and artists in the music, film, and fashion scene. All her videos are shot in Palestine by a fully Palestinian crew, all her outfits are designed by independent Palestinian designers showcasing the raw talent Palestine has to offer aiming to turn the Palestinian music scene into an industry.

DAM

DAM, meaning "everlasting" in Arabic, is the first Palestinian hip hop crew and among the first to rap in Arabic. Formed in the late 1990s, Tamer Nafar, Suhell Nafar, and Mahmood Jrere were inspired to tell their story through the rhythms of hip hop. DAM’s sound is unmistakable. Their music is a unique fusion of east and west, blending fierceful Arabic rap with Arabic rhythms, Middle Eastern sounds and melodies, and the pulsating beats of urban hiphop.

Lana Lubany

Bridging a gap between the West and the Middle East thanks to her Palestinian roots, American-Palestinian UK based singer songwriter Lana Lubany brings a whole new sound to today’s Avant-pop scene. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Rosalía and Billie Eilish, her music blends traditional Arabic and English vocals with modern self-directed electronic production creating unique, bilingual pop music. Lana Lubany’s unique sound has already found support from The Guardian, NME, The Line of Best Fit, The FADER, Alfitude, Reflector Mag, Disco Naivete, Notion, F Word and received plays from BBC Introducing.

NARCY

NARCY is a a polymath based in Montréal, Canada. NARCY raps, produces, directs, teaches, writes and creates. Real name Yassin Alsalman, he is predominantly recognized as the first Iraqi voice in the Hip-Hop community, earning his chops during the war on his Motherland - speaking truth to power across the world during the most difficult Era of modern history in Iraq. He is an award winning director, a celebrated University professor and a bookshop owner of MAKTABA in Montreal. His To Be An (Arab) tour is a multi-media Experience meant to span his discography leading to his present Double album by the same name. The album is only available on vinyl and will be available at the show. It boasts features from greats like Bu Kolthoum, Todd Rundgren, redveil, Talib Kweli, Dave Chappelle, Mo Amer and more.

Double Zuksh


Rising star in the Egyptian music scene Double Zuksh is renowned for his distinctive fusion of Hip Hop and Alternative Hip Hop. His songs are distinguished by pounding beats, complex rhythms, and incisive lyrics that address the reality of living in contemporary Egypt. Double Zuksh is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most intriguing new voices in the world of Egyptian music thanks to his distinctive sound and approach.

El Rass


Mazen El Sayed, better known as El Rass, is a rapper and music producer from Tripoli, Lebanon. He has released 9 albums, including his latest, "Hudhud," and has collaborated on over 200 singles with other artists and rappers from the region. El Rass is widely recognized in the Arab world for his thought-provoking lyrics, diverse styles and themes, and distinctive sound. Before dedicating himself fully to music, El Sayed worked as a journalist. His work is often described as bold and innovative, drawing inspiration from both traditional and modern expressions, blending the spiritual with the worldly.

Bedouin Burger

Formed by Syrian vocalist, composer and musician Lynn Adib and Lebanese underground pioneer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist Zeid Hamdan, Bedouin Burger is a duo that finely harmonises classical and Arabic folk music with their own compositions, subtly blending jazz with minimalist electronica. Their driving rhythms, captivating voices and daring arrangements resonate as much with the wandering soul of Bedouin nomads as with the free spirit of our fast-paced times.

Ahmed Eid


Ahmed Eid blends cultural musical traditions and social struggles. A masterful multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer-songwriter, Eid bridges gaps in alternative music communities, offering unique perspectives to the global music scene and an unwavering commitment to nurturing emerging talents, as reflected in his initiation of the «»Palestine Music Space»» in Ramallah, a education and recording space that stands as a beacon of hope and creativity for young musicians in Palestine.
ILYF is a Berlin-based band composed by two of the Bukahara co-founders, violinist Daniel Schneider and bassist Ahmed Eid with the drummer Kuba aka Badkuzu joined by the keyboard player Allysa Grace Martinez.

Hecreates unique mixes by combining raregems of chaâbi, raï, rap, and gnawa music.His sets are a true celebration of the culturaldiversity of the Maghreb, by exhuming thesetapes before they sink into oblivion, he takeshis audience on a journey and give a newlife to this maghrebian audio heritage.

Disco Arabesquo Night will take you back to the sounds of the 90's & 00's Arabic Middle-East (South-West Asia) and North Africa. You will hear the voices of Fairouz, Mohamed Mounir, Simone, Cheb Khaled, Nancy Ajram, Amr Diab and many of their friends. Meanwhile, you will dance along misty visuals of characters from the golden age of Arab Cinema. Get ready for classics, Moroccan Bangers, Lebanese Psychedelica, Algerian Funk, Egyptian Pop, Syrian Rhythms, Libyan Reggae & Iraqi Bounce. Edited, mixed, mashed and beyond! So brace yourself for an Arabic night into the future.

ATAY Collective

Just like ATAY—the beloved Arabic tea—ATAY collective brings a mix of sweet and strong flavors. During the Nawafiz, they are curating a special area with the finest musical and visual artists from the SWANA region.

baby ganoush
baby ganoush started playing as a way of processing competing emotions and translating what no words could express into a set. Her mixing style is very eclectic, focusing more on playing with energy levels with contrasting elements - introducing euphoric and sensorial layers, translated into a glittering meeting of light and dark. Influenced by her chaotic Swedish and Lebanese perspective, and characterized by textured, nostalgic and futuristic sounds with heavy pulsating bass, circling through many genres, often ambient, trance, IDM, breaks, grime, dubstep, leftfield and percussive rhythms.

Arabella Memdouh
Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Arabella Memdouh brings a fresh and energetic sound to every stage she steps on, seamlessly blending her roots with electronic SWANA edits, indie dance and progressive house. Named by 3voor12 as one of 2024’s ‘DJs to watch,’ Arabella Memdouh is also the creative force behind ATAY collective.



Noise Diva
Noise Diva is an Amsterdam-based producer and DJ, Garage Noord resident, and co-founder at KLAB. Her musical stylings bridge together a variety of genres, from Moroccan trap to Egyptian R&B, French drill, dancehall, and UK garage, weaving together stories that transcend the dancefloor, while ensuring that dancers stay hot on their toes. Her beats are characterized by their robust basslines and dynamic qualities, while her melodies possess a nostalgic and inherently feminine allure, adding depth and intrigue to her musical compositions.

Dabke is more than just a dance—it is a significant expression of cultural identity, resistance, and heritage. Dabke Night has been bringing the dabke to the Dutch nightlife, making sure to get everyone on the dancefloor hooked on the dabke energy.
